Our Story

I have always been a firearms enthusiast since my father introduced me to my first Ruger 10/22 at 10 years old. Before getting into the firearms industry, I spent many years in New York in the power delivery industry and as a professional pyrotechnician on the weekends and some weeknights during peak season. I directed professional firework displays, which my wife, three children, family, and friends always had a blast attending.

I began investing more in my passion for firearms by shooting professionally for nearly a decade. I was also an National Rifle Association (NRA) Firearms Instructor, where I was able to interact with a lot of people and personalities on a regular basis and share in my love of guns and firearms education. 

Eventually, I wanted to take my love for firearms to the next level by opening my own gun shop. The idea of creating and building a business centered around firearms — and then passing it on to my children one day — became a personal goal. Fast forward a bit, and now my family and I are living in Palm Beach County, Florida, which has allowed me to further my passion in entirely new ways, leading up to my wife Jenn and I founding Gun Garage Tactical!

What’s Behind Our Name, “Gun Garage Tactical?”

I’m glad you asked! Actually, the answer is simple. Everything that I’ve ever loved has been in my garage!

My hobbies over the years have included cars, sports, fishing, and of course, firearms. It just so happens that these are all hobbies that found their home in my garage (especailly after marrying my beautiful wife, Jenn. And you know what they say. Happy wife…). When it was time to work on the car, I headed for the garage. When it’s time to spend an afternoon fishing, I grab my gear from the garage. When I have to hide from my wife and kids, it’s to the garage I go. Now, as I continue to build my firearms collection, the garage has once again made a perfect home.

So when it came time to come up with a name for my gun and tactical accessory shop, Gun Garage Tactical just made sense. So come on into the Garage!
